The Historic Lodge
While we do not allow pets in our lodge suites, we welcome them in our trailers, cabins and RV/Campsites.
#2 The Red Room: (Queen Bed)
This bright and cozy one-bedroom apartment is situated on the second floor of the Main Lodge. The bedroom features white walls, hardwood floors, and a desk adorned with a vintage typewriter, all overlooking the grounds. Sunlight streams through crystal prisms, creating enchanting rainbows that dance across the room. The timeless kitchen invites slow mornings, making it a cherished retreat for artists in residence.
#3 The Balcony Suite: (Queen + Twin Daybed)
A spacious one-bedroom apartment on the second floor of the Main Lodge. It is the only room with private access to our public balcony. The bedroom has a high queen bed as well as a single daybed, antique writing desk, and a large TV/VCR. With both west and south-facing views, this space is often filled with a pleasant, filtered light.
#4 The Picasso Suite: (Queen Bed)
This spacious one-bedroom apartment is situated on the second floor of the Main Lodge. Facing west, it offers a stunning view of the coastal forest and breathtaking sunsets. The apartment provides convenient access to our public balcony and is filled with soft, natural light, creating a cozy and inviting ambiance.
#5 The Super Suite: (Queen + 2 Twins)
The Super Suite is a cozy two-bedroom apartment on the quiet third floor of the Main Lodge, typically reserved for Artists-In-Residence and musicians performing at the Sou’wester. With a kitchen conveniently separating the bedrooms for added privacy, this space is ideal for small groups to enjoy preparing meals and dining in together. It features one queen bed, two twin beds, a bathroom with a toilet, sink, and stall shower, plus a kitchen equipped with an electric stove/oven and a full-sized vintage fridge/freezer.
