The closest general art supply store is Fine Art Supply in Astoria, OR. Otherwise, Purly Shell Yarn Store is nearby in Ilwaco.

Can I install work or do site-specific projects on the grounds?
Possibly. We love supporting creative use of space, but all installations or projects must be pre-approved. Email us with your ideas beforehand at souwesterarts@gmail.com.
Is there a residency exhibition or sharing requirement?
No. There is no expectation to produce or present work during or after your stay. You’re welcome to leave a small token for our archives, but there is no pressure to do so.
Are there opportunities to connect with other residents?
Yes. We host a lo-fi, optional tea and zine-making gathering every Tuesday afternoon for current artists-in-residence to connect and co-create in the lodge living room.

- Seattle–Tacoma International Airport (SEA) – approximately 3.5 hours away
Rental Cars:
Both PDX and SEA have a full range of on-site rental car companies including Enterprise, Budget, Hertz, and Alamo.
Bus Options:
Amtrak Thruway offers bus service to Astoria, OR, and from there you can take a Pacific Transit bus to Long Beach, WA. Keep in mind service is limited, so plan accordingly.
